Laurie Muncy

Laurie Muncy, AICP is the Director of Community Planning and Economic Development at Old Colony Planning Council. She joined the OCPC in October 2017. She works with local, state and federal agencies providing technical assistance for sustainable and equitable community development.

Prior to joining OCPC she was employed by the Town of Hanson as the Town Planner and Conservation Agent. Laurie began her career in planning in 1990 as the Planning and Land Use Administrator for the Town of Freetown.

Laurie holds a BS in Geography with a concentration in Regional Planning and Economic Development from Bridgewater State University. Laurie is AICP certified, a member of APA and AA Geographers and a Roads Scholar.
