The planning and outreach strategy used to develop plans and policies has three tiers:
We invite a diverse set of community stakeholders, including municipal departments, local businesses, non-government entities, and local interest groups, as well as groups from abutting communities, to participate.
WHY YOU SHOULD PARTICIPATE
The Public Outreach Strategy was designed to involve the public in the planning process. The purpose of public outreach and stakeholder involvement is to:
- Generate public interest in planning.
- Accommodate special populations identified in the Town.
- Solicit public input.
- Engage local stakeholders.
- Create opportunities for the public and local stakeholders to be actively involved in the planning process.
