Drone Program
The Old Colony Planning Council works closely with stakeholders to maximize the benefits from the use of drones in their community. Drone operations are provided as a public service which adds a new dynamic and “panoramic” perspective to projects and studies in our 17 communities.
The OCPC Drone may be used for the following missions:
- Intersection Photography,
- Before/After Project Analysis,
- Phases of Construction,
- Roadway Corridor Video,
- Congestion Management Analysis,
- Hazard Mitigation,
- Open Space Photography,
- Infrastructure Inspection,
- Public Education and Outreach,
- 3-D Building Models,
- Orthomosaic Maps
OCPC’s communities are offered free drone services relating to ongoing projects. Special project requests can be made which may require a small fee, please contact Kyle Mowatt, kmowatt@ocpcrpa.org, for pricing.
