Andrew Vidal

Andrew Vidal is the GIS Manager at Old Colony Planning Council. He has worked for thirteen years in geospatial technology services and more than ten years at OCPC.

Andrew works closely with all other departments to provide spatial data and analysis and to produce map products. His work includes collecting, processing, and mapping geographic data, producing mapping products, serving as a liaison with state or federal agencies on geospatial data matters, maintaining data products such as zoning or parcels for communities, and he has also managed a stormwater data compliance project for two communities.

Andrew graduated from Bridgewater State College in 2005 with a Bachelor’s in Geography. He began his career as an intern with OCPC before transitioning into a GIS Analyst position for a hydrologic modeling software consultant. He returned in May of 2010 to OCPC as a GIS Specialist and was promoted to GIS Manager in 2014.
