Bill McNulty

Principal Transportation Planner

Bill McNulty has been with OCPC since 2000. He oversees the development of and oversees the development of and manages the Old Colony MPO Long Range Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP), and Safety Management System.

Among his responsibilities, Mr. McNulty is the coordinator of the Old Colony Local Highway Planning Technical Assistance (LTA) Program, an annual task included in the Old Colony MPO Unified Planning Work Program which makes technical planning assistance available to municipalizes for localized transportation study. The LTA program has become a very successful and popular program in the Region, providing over 250 localized transportation studies throughout the region since 2002. Many of these studies have provided the municipalities with short term and lower cost options that have been able to be implemented to improve safety, congestion, and quality of life in these communities.

Bill is a Transportation Professional Certification Board (TPCB) certified Professional Transportation Planner. He studied Geography and Earth Sciences at Bridgewater State University, from which he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography.
