Jane A. Selig LCSW

Jane came to Old Colony Planning Council in 2014 as an Assistant Director to the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program. She has been a Certified Ombudsman since 2009. As part of her job Jane advocates for residents and families involved with long-term care facilities and rest homes, overseeing regulations and making sure requirements are met at both the state and federal level. Jane is constantly working to foster an open relationship with her residents to ensure their needs are being met.

Jane has decades of experience in the field of social work – working with such agencies as the Department of Disability Services, the Brockton Veterans Administration, South Shore Elder Services, Meals on Wheels and the American Cancer Society.

Jane graduated from Bridgewater State University in 2012 with a Master Degree in Social Work.
