Nick Qiaquinto

Nick Giaquinto joined Old Colony Planning Council in 2023 as Senior Economic Development Planner. Prior to coming to OCPC, Nick was the Operations Officer at MassDevelopment for the Transformative Development Initiative (TDI), an innovative neighborhood-based economic development accelerator which collaborates with cross-sector partnerships to engage the community in actionable planning and spur public and private investment.

Additionally, Nick served as Chief of Staff to Brockton Mayor Bill Carpenter and as a legislative committee staffer for the Massachusetts House of Representatives.

As Senior Economic Development Planner, Nick is responsible for delivering technical expertise to communities in the OCPC network that will foster economic growth and sustainability within the region. Nick leads & co-leads numerous project management initiatives, developing planning narratives, formulating growth-oriented policies and strategies, producing grant funding applications and coordinating civic engagement efforts.

Nick holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Massachusetts Boston and a Bachelor of Science in American Politics and Government from Suffolk University.
